A viola made by local maker Burritt Miller, who trained at the Cremona Scuola Internaziola di Liuteria and worked for William Moennig & Sons for over 30 years. The one-piece maple back is of narrow curl descending slightly from right to left. The two-piece spruce table is of medium-broad grain broadening towards the flanks. The varnish is a light golden brown color over a golden yellow ground. Measurements: Length of Back: 415 mm, Upper Bouts: 191 mm, Middle Bouts: 128 mm, Lower Bouts: 241 mm, String Length: 379 mm.
