A Stradivari model violin made by John Frederick Lott II, in an antiqued manner similar to that of J. B. Vuillaume) and previously attributed to the early work of Vuillaume), with exceptional wood selection and fine tone. The handsome two-piece maple back is of broad curl descending from the center joint. The two-piece spruce table is of fine grain broadening towards the flanks.
