A nice mid-20th century viola made in Mittenwald. The two-piece maple back is of narrow curl. The two-piece spruce table is of narrow grain. The varnish is a red-orange brown color over a yellow ground. Measurements: Length of Back: 408 mm (16-1/16″), Upper Bouts: 188 mm, Middle Bouts: 130 mm, Lower Bouts: 234 mm. String Length: 373 mm.
