A small viola with a large and full sound, from the group of makers commonly referred to as ?Vieux Paris?. The one-piece maple back is of medium curl ascending from left to right. The two-piece spruce table is of fine grain broadening towards the flanks. The varnish is an amber orange brown color over a golden ground. Measurements: Length of Back: 400 mm, Upper Bouts: 191 mm, Middle Bouts: 132 mm, Lower Bouts: 232 mm, String Length: 365 mm.
